An adventurous wedding at an epic location- Big Sur

As a Big Sur wedding photographer couple, it’s our absolute dream to capture love on camera and be a part of telling the story of a couple’s journey together. We also enjoy having fun alongside our couples – we can all use a little more play and adventure in our lives, right?! This Big Sur Wedding had us smiling from ear to ear and laughing all day!

We wanted to feature the epic beauty of the seaside cliffs at this Big Sur wedding because it clearly speaks for itself! For the decor inspiration, Madison and Brennan went with light neutral colors and textures, like the linen suit and the lace bodice on the wedding dress. Bellevue Floral Co. did a magnificent job of the floral arrangements! Peach roses, baby’s breath, and a mixture of fresh and dried flowers – the arrangements were the cherry on top of this Big Sur wedding!

A day filled with laughter and memories

We connected with Madison and Brennan over Instagram and we immediately fell in love with them! Their adventurous hearts and their love for each other really shone and they were such a delight to work with. A hilarious moment during this Big Sur wedding shoot was when we were at the top of the mountains at Garrapata. We had floral arrangements set up and it was so windy that they kept falling over. So, Willow and a woman we met sightseeing with her husband hid behind the florals to hold them up. We were all laughing so hard!

A vintage car and a charcuterie spread

Willow and I proposed the idea of renting a vintage car for this Big Sur Wedding to Madison and Brennan, and lucky for all of us- they were soooo down!! It was the perfect added touch! The color of the car matched the aquamarine blue of the ocean and the beige interior beautifully complimented the neutral decor. We ended the day with a stunning, oceanside charcuterie spread. It was such a joy to be a part of this styled shoot – it was the pure definition of an epic Big Sur wedding shoot. Everything about the day was perfect and we had so much fun as a Big Sur wedding photographer.
